Dr. Mike and Nancy

Nancy Pickens is a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition who focuses on whole food nutrition and integrative health practices to restore wellness. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Michigan and master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Her 35+ year nursing career mainly in the field of digestive disorders and wound healing, has given her extensive insight on resolving chronic illness with nutrition. 

She works in conjunction with her husband, Dr. Michael Pickens, who also attended the University of Michigan and graduated valedictorian from Life College with his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 1984. Dr. Mike specializes in the Gonstead Method of chiropractic and has served on both state and local chiropractic associations. Dr. Mike and Nancy co-own ABA Family Chiropractic Holistic Health Center in Toledo, OH.
